Montana Quarter Timeline
June 30, 2005 - Governor Schweitzer created the Montana Quarter Design Selection Commission
August 3, 2005 - Governor and Members of the Commission meet with representatives from the U.S. Mint, 10:30AM, Governor's Reception Room
September 19, 2005 - Governor and Commission meet to review public input and decide on narratives for submission to U.S. Mint, 12:00 Noon, Governor's Office
October 2005 - U.S. Mint accepts Montana submissions
February 2006 - Designs are created by U.S. Mint and submitted to the National Coinage Advisory Council and to the Commission of Fine Arts and finally to the Secretary of the Treasury
March 2006 - Montana should receive designs back from the U.S. Mint - the designs will be released for the public to vote on at that time..stay tuned!
