Executive Order

EXECUTIVE ORDER SUSPENDING EXECUTIVE ORDERS 19-00, 21-00, 22-00 AND 23-00

    WHEREAS, the presence of additional resources and capabilities for firefighting and initial attack, and substantial changes in moisture level content, precipitation and more moderate temperatures, combined with the continuation of appropriate fire restrictions as necessary, allow for the suspension of the land and water closures as specified in Executive Orders 19-00, 21-00, 22-00 and 23-00.

    NOW, THEREFORE, I, MARC RACICOT, Governor of the State of Montana, pursuant to authority vested in me by the Constitution of the State of Montana and the laws of the State of Montana, including Title 10, chapter 3, MCA (1999), section 87-3-106 MCA (1999), and ARM 36.10.120, do hereby suspend Executive Orders 19-00, 21-00, 22-00 and 23-00.

    This proclamation is effective at 12:00 p.m. September 5, 2000.
