(HELENA)---The State of Montana activated a hotline today for citizens affected by the fires.
Citizens may call The State Fire Assistance Hotline at 1-800-237-5079 Monday - Friday from 7:00 am - 7:00 pm. Hotline staffers are available to refer callers to the appropriate agencies which can answer questions regarding recovery-related issues and available assistance.
Montana citizens may also access similar information on the Montana Fire Recovery Information Website at newslinks.state.mt.us/recovery.shtml. Website visitors interested in information regarding the fire situation itself should click on the "Travel Information" link displayed on this site.
