Helena--“I have been fully briefed by the White House and the U.S. Department of Energy on the price mitigation plan implemented today by FERC. While I still must review the entire order, I am pleased that FERC is proactively working to protect Western power customers, while simultaneously allowing Western states to seek the long-term market based solutions we need to ensure affordable, reliable power for our citizens,” said Martz.

Governor Martz has accepted an invitation to testify before the Senate Energy Committee, her second appearance before the Committee since becoming Governor, on Wednesday, June 20.
